Ed Benfield has over thirty years of experience as a professional market researcher on both the client and supplier sides of the business. He is an expert in consumer research and an accomplished focus group moderator. Mr. Benfield has worked with UNISEARCH on consulting projects since 1989 and joined the company as a Senior Partner in 1994.
In addition to his broad-based knowledge of consumer research, Mr. Benfield brings considerable expertise in research design and quantitative analysis to the company. Ed has a unique ability to quickly understand the needs of clients and to design programs to meet those specific needs. Among his specialties are the design, analysis and implementation of laddering studies, customer satisfaction surveys and other quantitative studies. He has worked extensively on projects in that area over the past fifteen years.
Mr. Benfield is an honors and Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Southern Illinois University, where he majored in Economics and minored in Computer Science and Quantitative Techniques. He has completed Executive Education at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania on marketing research. He has extensive experience in package goods , theme parks and the casino industry.
